Best Student Paper Award from IEEE FISTS 2026!
Happy to share that my recent co-authored paper, Enhancing Deployed Variable Speed Limit System with Cross-Fidelity Slowdown Prediction, won the Best Student Paper Award from IEEE Forum for Innovative Sustainable Transportation Systems (FISTS) 2026! This works extends our previously deployed variable speed limit (VSL) system with traffic slowdown prediction that improves the accuracy of previously misclassified slowdown case.
